Physio Killed The Radio Stars

With a little trepidation we made our way to Drystone Radio, community radio station for the Craven area. Their head office and studio are hidden away off the main road in Cowling.

Rob Pisacane at Drystone graciously agreed to help promote our efforts with an interview. We gathered in their modest studio on Wednesday 2nd of March to make our 'debuts'. I was joined by James and Joel as Nick was swamped at work and Hollie was tied up.

He was great and helped us relax into the chat. We covered all major bases, the Trailtrekker event, the charity, our plans and despite being ‘volunteered’ to do most of the talking, it seemed to go well. We just hope it turns out all right.

Check back for a copy of the recording or tune into Drystone Radio on 106.9 FM. You can even click the link on the right.

See, I don't look too nervous... do I?

Radio Ga Ga

Radio goo goo

All we hear is Radio ga ga
Radio blah blah

Radio, Team Q still loves you!"

Not walking but busy

As we enter March you'll notice that news of our walking exploits has been less than plentiful.

There is of course a good reason for this - we haven't been walking much. Ady proudly wears the leaders jersey for amount of miles walked I suspect.

But there has been activity. James has organised a Tennis tournament - kindly hosted by Aireville school. Joel is in the process of sorting out a date for the football (that's code for Joel not doing very much. He needs to pull his finger out). Ady is sorting out the acclaimed Pig Racing Night and has been busy arranging The Q Team's radio debut.

On Wednesday lunchtime we will be attending Drystone Radio HQ to promote everything Trailtrekker. We might even be able to get a clip to put on the website. Follow the link on the right to see what Drystone radio is all about.

Ady has also been writing some lyrics for a potential charity single from The Q Team.
